Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 2 teaspoons corn syrup (optional)

Instructions
- Begin by pouring 2 cups of baking soda into your mixing bowl.
- In a separate cup, measure 1 cup of water, then add 1 cup of white vinegar.
- Pour this bubbly mixture into the bowl with baking soda and watch as it fizzes.
- Once the fizz settles, stir the mixture gently. Add corn syrup if desired.
- Gradually knead the dough with your hands until smooth.
- Roll out the dough to about half an inch thick.
- Cut out shapes using your cookie cutters.
- Place the shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Use a straw to create a hole for hanging.
- Let the ornaments air dry for 24 hours or bake at 200°F for 2 to 3 hours.
