Ingredients
- White coffee filters
- Soft craft paint (blush pink, pastel colors)
- A small bowl of water
- Scissors
- Floral wire or pipe cleaners
- Green floral tape (optional)
- A small paintbrush or sponge
- A drop cloth or newspaper
Instructions
- Start by taking three to five coffee filters. Gently stack them, paying attention to the edges.
- Using your scissors, cut the filters into a petal shape.
- Once your petals are cut, gently bunch them together.
- Dip the paintbrush or sponge into the soft craft paint and lightly apply color to the edges of each petal.
- With the colored edges drying, take your floral wire or pipe cleaner and position it at the base of your grouped filters.
- Begin to shape the petals by gently curling and folding them back.
- If using floral tape, wrap it around the base of your wire or pipe cleaner.
