Instructions
- Start by choosing your paint colors. Dip your brush into the paint and gently add color to the wooden clothespin. Feel how smoothly the brush glides. Let the paint dry completely.
- While the clothespins dry, take your colorful tissue paper. Using scissors, cut out shapes for the wings. Think about butterfly shape and size, letting your creativity flow.
- Once the clothespins are dry, grab your glue. Apply a thin layer on one side of the clothespin where the wings will attach.
- Carefully position the wings against the glue. You can choose to place them at different angles to create a whimsical look. Let this set for a moment.
- Now for the decorations! Use your glue to attach googly eyes on the top of the clothespin. Add sequins or glitter for a bit of sparkle if you wish.
- If you want a finished look that lasts, consider applying a clear sealant over the entire piece once the glue has dried. This will give your butterflies a nice sheen and protect them for play or display.
- Finally, find a special spot for your butterflies. Whether it’s on a shelf, in a sunny window, or as part of a child’s playtime, their joyful presence will fill the space.
