Ingredients

  • Coffee filters (regular or large)
  • Scissors (child-friendly if crafting with kids)
  • Colored markers or watercolors
  • Pipe cleaners or floral wire
  • Embellishments (optional: buttons, glitter, dried flowers)
  • A small cup of water (optional for watercolor use)
  • A flat workspace

Instructions

  1. Start with one coffee filter and lay it flat on your workspace.
  2. Cut the edges into a rounded or petal-like shape.
  3. Add color using markers or watercolors.
  4. Create the flower center by folding a second coffee filter and cutting a small circle.
  5. Assemble the flower by layering the filters and securing them with a pipe cleaner.
  6. Shape your blooms by gently pulling the edges of the top filter upwards.
  7. Add any embellishments you like.
  8. Repeat the process with different colors and designs to create a bouquet.

Notes

Store your finished flowers in a cool, dry place to preserve their colors. You can refresh them with new colors if desired.
