Ingredients
- Coffee filters (white or colored)
- Green floral wire or stems
- Scissors
- Water-based markers or food coloring
- A small bowl of water (optional)
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Instructions
- Select your coffee filters. Gather a few together for a fuller flower effect.
- If using white filters and you wish to add color, dip the edges lightly into the bowl of water mixed with drops of food coloring, then let them dry fully.
- Once dry, stack three or four together. Pinch the center to form a blossom shape.
- Use scissors to cut the edges into soft petals.
- Wrap a piece of floral wire around the base where you pinched the filters to secure them.
- Gently fluff the layers to create depth and volume in your flower.
- Attach more flowers by making additional blooms and grouping them together.
- Consider creating leaves using additional filters. Cut out simple leaf shapes and attach them to the stems or the wall display.
- When satisfied with your arrangement, find a lovely spot to display your artwork.
