A calming and visually stunning experiment that transforms the beauty of flowers using color and water, inviting creativity and mindfulness.

Ingredients

  • Fresh white flowers (daisies or carnations)
  • Food coloring or plant dyes
  • Water (room temperature)
  • Clear cups or small vases
  • A tray or workspace
  • Optional: scissors

Instructions

  1. Begin by preparing your chosen workspace. Lay down any protective materials to catch any drips and spills.
  2. Trim the stems of your flowers at an angle, about an inch from the bottom.
  3. Fill each cup or vase with water, filling them about halfway.
  4. Add a few drops of food coloring to each cup and watch the color disperse.
  5. Place a flower in each cup, ensuring the stem is submerged.
  6. Allow the flowers to rest in the dyed water, observing the transformation.
  7. Once you notice a color change, move the flowers to a new spot to admire them.

Notes

Experiment with different flower types and colors for unique results. Consider using natural dyes for an organic approach.
