- Black cardstock or heavy black paper
- White acrylic paint
- Silver acrylic paint
- Marbles (varying sizes)
- A shallow tray (like a baking dish or a wide plate)
- Paper towels or cloth (for cleanup)
- Optional: Friendly stickers or embellishments for adding details
Instructions
- Prepare your space: Find a comfortable spot with natural light and a clean surface. Lay down some paper towels to catch any paint spills.
- Set up the tray: Place your shallow tray flat on the surface.
- Pour the paint: Squeeze out small amounts of white and silver acrylic paint into the bottom of the tray.
- Dip the marbles: Take a marble and gently roll it through the paint.
- Create the web: Place the marble on the black cardstock and let it roll freely, leaving behind a beautiful pattern.
- Repeat & layer: Clean the marble if changing colors, and experiment with different marbles until you’re satisfied.
- Dry the creation: Allow the cardstock to dry completely.
- Adding details: Embellish your spider web with stickers or hand-drawn details if desired.
