Create a tranquil and colorful mini garden using air-dry clay, perfect for adding a touch of nature to your home decor.

Ingredients

  • Air-dry clay
  • Acrylic paints (yellow, brown, green, and other colors)
  • Paintbrushes (various sizes)
  • A small, shallow container
  • Craft knife or clay sculpting tools
  • Parchment paper or silicone mat
  • Mod Podge or clear sealant (optional)

Instructions

  1. Begin by tearing off a piece of air-dry clay. Knead it until warm and pliable.
  2. Shape the clay into a flat disc for the sunflower center.
  3. Set the disc aside and divide another piece of clay into smaller sections to create cone-shaped petals.
  4. Attach the petals around the central disc, overlapping them slightly.
  5. Create leaves by rolling out green clay and cutting leaf shapes.
  6. Add decorative elements to the container if desired.
  7. Allow the mini garden to dry for several hours or overnight.
  8. Paint your sunflowers, leaves, and container once dry.
  9. Finish with a coat of Mod Podge for added protection.
  10. Step back and admire your work!

Notes
