Ingredients
- Glass jars – clean and suited for LED tealight
- Black paint – suitable for glass, quantity as needed
- Star-shaped sponge or stencil – 1 each
- LED tealight candles – 1 for each jar
- Paintbrush – 1
- Glitter – optional, small quantity if desired
- Acrylic sealer – optional, for durability
Instructions
- Clean the jars. Remove any labels, then wash and dry the glass thoroughly.
- Plan the star pattern. Decide where you want the stars to appear.
- Apply the black paint. Use a paintbrush to coat the outside of the jar carefully around the star areas.
- Add glitter if you like. While the paint is still wet, sprinkle a little glitter over the painted surface.
- Let the paint dry completely. Set the jar somewhere stable and leave it undisturbed.
- Seal the paint if desired. Once the paint has dried, apply a coat of acrylic sealer for added durability.
- Add an LED tealight. Place one LED tealight inside each finished jar.
- Arrange your luminaries. Group the jars together on a shelf or stable spot.
Notes
Handle the jars with care to avoid chips or cracks, and store them in a dry place when not on display.
