  7. Rounds 10 through 12: Chain 1 and work 1 single crochet in every stitch around. Join each round with a slip stitch. Add small amounts of polyester fiberfill after Round 10.
  8. Round 13: Chain 1, then work 1 single crochet in each of the next 3 stitches. Work a decrease in the next 2 stitches. Join with a slip stitch.
  9. Round 14: Chain 1, then repeat 1 single crochet in the next stitch, 1 half double crochet in the next stitch, 1 double crochet in the next stitch, and 1 treble crochet in the next stitch. Join with a slip stitch.
  10. Before the final round, place one pearl bead near the top of each treble crochet peak.
  11. Round 15: Chain 1, then work 1 single crochet in every stitch around, catching the bead attachment threads beneath your stitches. Join with a slip stitch and fasten off.
  12. Attach the safety eyes between Rounds 7 and 8.
  13. Finish by weaving in the ends through several nearby stitches before trimming and shaping the ghost.

Notes

Safety eyes and small beads are choking hazards, so keep this decoration away from children under three. If a mistake appears several rows back, calmly pull back to the problem round.
