Ingredients
- Worsted weight yarn (weight 4, medium), acrylic, about 120 yards from one 100 g skein
- H-8 (5.0 mm) crochet hook

- One cinnamon stick (about 3 inches long or 7.5 cm) for the stem

Instructions

- Pull the yarn tail to close the center.
- Round 2: Work 2 sc in each stitch around (12 stitches).
- Round 3: Work 1 sc in the first stitch, then 2 sc in the next stitch, repeat around (18 stitches).
- Round 4: Work 1 sc in each of the next 2 stitches, then 2 sc in the following stitch, repeat around (24 stitches).

- Weave the tail through the remaining stitches and pull gently to close the opening.
- To create the pumpkin shape, insert the yarn needle from the closed top through the center and out at the base, wrap the yarn around the outside and return through the center, creating grooves.
- Push the cinnamon stick into the top center.
- Weave in the yarn ends.
