A calming and creative crafting project to make your own charming pipe cleaner crocodile.

Ingredients

  • Green pipe cleaners (for the body and tail)
  • Yellow or white pipe cleaners (for the underbelly)
  • Black pipe cleaners (for eyes and legs)
  • Scissors (for easy trimming)
  • Googly eyes (optional, for playful touches)
  • A flat working surface
  • A cozy corner to enjoy creating

Instructions

  1. Start with a green pipe cleaner, about 12 inches long. Gently bend it in the middle to create the crocodile’s body.
  2. Use another green pipe cleaner to form a tail. Twist one end tightly to create a tapered point. Attach it to one end of the bent pipe cleaner for the body.
  3. Take a black pipe cleaner and cut it into four equal short pieces. Bend each piece slightly to create legs. Attach them evenly along the underbelly of your crocodile.
  4. For the underbelly, take a yellow or white pipe cleaner. Trim it to match the crocodile’s length and attach it underneath, twisting it around the body.
  5. To create the head, bend another green pipe cleaner to shape it. Attach it at the opposite end of the croc’s body. Use scissors to trim if you desire a specific size.
  6. Now for some personality: gently push the googly eyes onto the head or use small pieces of black pipe cleaner to create eyes.
  7. Add any additional details that spark your inspiration.
  8. Once you finish, take a moment to admire your handiwork.
