Ingredients
- Fresh flowers (such as violets, daisies, or lavender)
- White cardstock or sturdy paper
- Laminating sheets
- A laminator (or a household iron as a substitute)
- Scissors
- A heavy book or flower press
Instructions
- Select your flowers. Gently pluck them and admire their vibrancy.
- Prepare your flowers. Lay them on a paper towel or soft surface.
- Open a heavy book or press. Place your flowers between the pages.
- Close the book gently. Let your flowers rest for at least a week.
- Once dried, remove the flowers from the book.
- Cut the white cardstock to your desired bookmark size.
- Arrange the dried flowers on the cardstock as you like.
- Take a moment to enjoy this composition.
- Place the laminated sheet over the flowers and cardstock.
- Feed it through the laminator slowly or gently press with an iron.
- Cut away any excess laminating sheet.
