A calming project to create beautiful baking soda snow trees, perfect for winter decoration and mindfulness.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups baking soda
  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • Medium-sized mixing bowl
  • Whisk or spoon
  • Parchment paper
  • Optional: Glitter, food coloring, or essential oils

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add two cups of baking soda.
  2. Slowly pour in ½ cup of white vinegar.
  3. Using a whisk or spoon, blend the baking soda and vinegar together.
  4. Once everything combines, knead the mixture in your hands until smooth.
  5. Shape this mixture into small tree forms.
  6. Optional: Sprinkle some glitter on your trees.
  7. Set your shaped trees on parchment paper to dry.
  8. Allow the trees to dry for at least 24 hours.
  9. Once dried, dust off any excess glitter, and display your trees.

Notes

Store the completed snow trees in a cool, dry place, and consider refreshing them with a damp cloth over time.
