- A small amount of gray or silver worsted weight yarn for the neck bolts, about 8 yards
- H-8 (5.0 mm) crochet hook

- Yarn needle for weaving in ends and sewing on the details
- Sharp scissors
- One stitch marker (optional)
- Tape measure for checking gauge and finished height
Instructions
- Make a magic ring with green yarn and place your stitch marker in the first stitch of each round.
- Work 6 single crochet (sc) into the magic ring. Pull the yarn tail to close the center (Round 1: 6 sc).
- Increase around by working 2 sc in each stitch (Round 2: 12 sc).
- Work 1 sc in the first stitch, then 2 sc in the next stitch, repeating around (Round 3: 18 sc).
- Continue widening with 1 sc in each of the next 2 stitches, then 2 sc in the next stitch, repeating around (Round 4: 24 sc).
- Work 1 sc in each of the next 3 stitches, then 2 sc in the next stitch, repeating around (Round 5: 30 sc).
- Work 1 sc in each of the next 4 stitches, then 2 sc in the next stitch, repeating around (Round 6: 36 sc).
- Continue with 1 sc in each stitch for 8 rounds (Rounds 7–14: 36 sc each).
- Insert the safety eyes between Rounds 10 and 11, leaving about 6 stitches between them.
- Work 1 sc in each of the next 4 stitches, then sc2tog around (Round 15: 30 sc).
- Work 1 sc in each of the next 3 stitches, then sc2tog around (Round 16: 24 sc).
- Add a small amount of polyester fiberfill now, pushing it into the lower corners.
- Work 1 sc in each of the next 2 stitches, then sc2tog around (Round 17: 18 sc).
- Add more fiberfill until the body feels full but still soft.
- Work 1 sc in the first stitch, then sc2tog around (Round 18: 12 sc).
- Finish stuffing and work sc2tog around (Round 19: 6 sc).
- Cut the green yarn, leaving a 6-inch tail, and weave through the front loops of the remaining stitches to close the opening.
- For the hair, attach black yarn at the top edge and make short uneven stitches.
- Sew gray or silver yarn pieces at the sides of the neck for bolts, knotting the ends inside the body.
- Embroider a simple black mouth with one straight line and two short vertical stitches.
- Weave in all remaining ends and check that the safety eyes and sewn details feel secure.
Notes
Keep small parts secure as safety eyes and loose details are not safe for children under three. The finished plushie is suitable for display but should be used with supervision if given to young children.
