Transform ordinary jars into beautiful candleholders that capture the essence of autumn, creating warmth and comfort in your home.

Ingredients

  • Empty glass jars (small or medium-sized)
  • Candle wax (recycled or beeswax)
  • Wick (unwaxed cotton string)
  • Twine or ribbon (natural fiber)
  • Scissors
  • A double boiler or heat-safe container
  • Optional: dried leaves, small pinecones, or other autumnal decorations

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace: Clear a comfortable area and lay out your materials.
  2. Melt the wax: Gently heat the wax in a double boiler, stirring occasionally.
  3. Prepare the wick: Cut to length and secure it in the center of the jar.
  4. Pour the wax: Carefully pour the melted wax into the jar, leaving space at the top.
  5. Add natural touches: Layer dried leaves or decorations on top of the wax.
  6. Allow to set: Let the candle cool completely.
  7. Finish with twine: Wrap twine or ribbon around the jar’s neck and tie a knot.
  8. Trim the wick: Cut to about 1/4 inch before lighting.
