Ingredients
- Epsom salt
- Hot water (handle with care)
- Food coloring
- Clean eggshell halves
Instructions
- Dissolve the Epsom salt. Add Epsom salt to hot water and stir until it dissolves.
- Color the solution. Add a few drops of food coloring to the salt solution and stir gently.
- Fill the eggshell halves. Carefully pour the solution into the clean eggshell halves.
- Leave the shells undisturbed. Set the filled shells in a secure spot and let them sit while crystals form.
Notes
The shells may be fragile, and loose crystals or salt solution can make a mess if they’re handled roughly.
