Ingredients
- Soft pink faceted beads
- Green faceted beads
- Clear faceted beads
- A sparkling pink crystal drop
- Fishing line or thread
- Scissors
Instructions
- Cut the line or thread. Choose the hanging length you want and cut a piece of fishing line or thread to suit. Leave extra length at both ends for tying the top loop and attaching the crystal drop.
- Thread the beads. Add the soft pink, green, and clear faceted beads to the line. Arrange them in any order you like, spacing them evenly for a neat, balanced strand or varying the gaps for a more relaxed look.
- Form the hanging loop. When the beaded section is complete, make a loop at the top of the strand. Tie it securely so it can support the finished suncatcher.
- Attach the pink crystal drop. Secure the sparkling pink crystal drop at the bottom of the bead strand. Check that it hangs freely and that the attachment is firm.
- Check the finished strand. Hold the suncatcher by its top loop and look over the bead spacing, top knot, and crystal attachment. Make any adjustments you can before trimming loose ends.
- Hang it where light can reach it. Place the suncatcher in a location where sunlight can pass through.
Notes
Keep the cut line away from pets and small children while you work, since thin line and loose beads can present safety concerns.
