Ingredients

- A small cardboard tube (like a toilet paper roll for tail support)
Instructions
- Start by cutting two cardboard circles, each about 3 inches in diameter with a smaller circle in the center (about 1 inch).
- Take your yarn and wind it around the cardboard circles, going back and forth smoothly.
- Once you feel it’s thick enough, take scissors and carefully cut around the outer edge of the yarn.
- Take a long piece of yarn (about 12 inches), slip it between the two cardboard circles, and tie a tight knot around the middle.
- Gently remove the cardboard, and fluff the yarn ball to encourage it to take shape.
- Repeat the process to make two more pom poms for the body of your cat, and one for the tail.
- Choose your favorite pom pom to serve as the head and trim into shape if needed.
- For the body, stack two pom poms together using glue or tying them with extra yarn.
- Attach the remaining pom pom as the tail by inserting it into the cardboard tube.
- For personalization, cut a triangle from felt for the nose and glue it on, add buttons or beads for the eyes.
- Allow everything to dry and fix any stray yarn ends.
