Ingredients
- Candle holder: 1 clean candle holder intended for candle use
- Pressed flowers: assorted fully dry and flat pressed flowers (keep extras on hand)
- Glue: suitable for the holder’s surface, follow application and drying instructions
- Scissors: to trim stems or loose flower pieces, if needed
- Candle: select 1 candle that fits securely inside the holder, an LED candle is suggested for added safety
Instructions
- Arrange the flowers first. Lay out your pressed flowers and decide how you want them to look on the holder. Try different placements before gluing.
- Apply glue in small sections. Spread glue on the exterior of the candle holder, working on one manageable area at a time.
- Place the flowers gently. Set each pressed flower onto the glued area. Press lightly to avoid crushing delicate petals.
- Let the glue dry completely. Follow the glue manufacturer’s drying directions.
- Add the candle. Once the glue is fully dry, place a candle inside the holder, ensuring the flowers and glue are clear of the flame.
Notes
Ensure flowers and glue stay away from the flame and heat, and never leave a burning candle unattended. For safety, consider using an LED candle instead.
