  • Total Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • Fallen leaves
  • Glue
  • Paint
  • Paper

Instructions

  1. Gather fallen leaves.
  2. Prepare the workspace by covering the table and placing the paper, leaves, paint, and glue within reach.
  3. Arrange the leaves on the paper without gluing them first, encouraging kids to experiment with their layout.
  4. Create a design using the leaves to make animals, faces, flowers, or abstract pictures.
  5. Add paint to the leaves if desired, either before or after they are glued down.
  6. Glue the leaves onto the paper by applying glue to the back of each leaf and pressing it onto the paper.
  7. Add final details with paint to enhance the design.
  8. Let the artwork dry completely before moving or displaying it.

Notes

Younger children may need help applying glue and handling delicate leaves. Use washable, child-safe paint and glue for younger kids.
