No reviews

A cheerful, no-crochet-hook-needed craft made by threading colorful beads onto cord and attaching the finished jellyfish to keychain hardware. It’s a fun project that brightens up keys, backpacks, or zipper pulls.

Ingredients

  • Pony beads: Various colors for jellyfish body and tentacles
  • Keychain hardware: A key ring or attachment for the charm
  • String or cord: Suitable for threading through bead holes and securing with knots
  • Scissors: For cutting the cord and trimming excess

Instructions

  1. Cut a length of string or cord for the jellyfish body, leaving enough extra for knots and attachment.
  2. Thread pony beads onto the cord in chosen colors to form the jellyfish body, arranging them for desired appearance.
  3. Tie a knot to hold the body beads together, ensuring it's snug but not overly tight to avoid damaging the cord.
  4. Add additional strings of pony beads to create tentacles, using the same or contrasting colors, leaving enough cord for secure attachment.
  5. Connect the beaded jellyfish to the keychain hardware, positioning the body and tentacle strands correctly.
  6. Check all knots and connections, gently tugging to ensure they hold, then trim excess cord carefully, leaving the knots intact.

Notes

This project is not a toy for young children due to small parts and potential strangulation risks from the cord.
