Ingredients
- 2 large popsicle sticks
- 2 smaller popsicle sticks
- Colorful paints or markers
- Craft glue or hot glue
- Scissors
- Googly eyes (optional)
- A piece of cardstock
Instructions
- Start by laying out your popsicle sticks on a clean surface.
- Take the two larger sticks and position them parallel to each other, about four to five inches apart.
- Next, take the smaller popsicle sticks and paint or decorate them in colors that inspire you.
- Once dry, glue the smaller sticks horizontally across the larger sticks to create the wings.
- For extra charm, attach googly eyes at the top of the larger sticks.
- To add movement, use a third smaller stick and place it perpendicular to the body’s middle.
- Finally, attach your butterfly to the cardstock base using glue.
- Once everything is secure, take a step back and admire your creation.
