Ingredients
- Coffee filters (white or natural)
- Food coloring or watercolor
- Water
- Scissors
- Green wire or pipe cleaners
- Optional: A small bowl
- Optional: Paintbrush or pipette
Instructions
- Start by preparing your color mixture.
- Take a coffee filter and dip it into the color mixture gently.
- Lay the wet filter flat on a clean surface to dry.
- Once dry, stack together three or four filters.
- Grab your scissors and start cutting the edges into a petal shape.
- After cutting, gently scrunch the filters together from the center.
- With green wire or a pipe cleaner, twist it around the center of the filters.
- You might wish to separate the layers gently.
- If you’d like, you can create additional flowers.
