- Gather all your beads and tools on a clean workspace.
- Cut a length of stretchy jewelry cord about 10-12 inches long.
Creating the Bracelet
- Decide on a color pattern for your bracelet, a classic red-white-blue sequence works beautifully.
- Begin threading your beads onto the cord in your planned pattern.
- Keep the bracelet's length in mind by wrapping it around your wrist and adjusting the number of beads as necessary.
- Tie a secure knot at the end of the cord to keep the beads from slipping off.
- Trim any excess cord but leave a small tail to prevent the knot from coming undone.
Notes
Mix different bead sizes or shapes for added texture. You can use glow-in-the-dark beads for evening celebrations.
