4th of July Glitter Slime

Create a fun and colorful 4th of July Glitter Slime that combines the festive colors of Independence Day. A perfect hands-on activity for all ages!

Ingredients
  

For the Slime

  • 1 cup white school glue
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups liquid starch
  • red glitter
  • blue glitter
  • white glitter or confetti Optional for festive touch

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue and 1 cup of water. Stir well until the mixture is fully blended and smooth.
  • Gradually add red glitter to half of the glue mixture and stir until thoroughly mixed. In another bowl, do the same with blue glitter for the other half.
  • Slowly pour 1 cup of liquid starch into each glitter mixture, stirring continuously. You’ll notice the slime starting to come together.
  • Once it reaches a more solid form, take the mixture out and knead it with your hands. Add white glitter or confetti while kneading for that festive touch.
  • Once you’ve achieved your desired texture, store your glitter slime in an airtight container to prevent it from drying out.

Notes

Add essential oils for a scent, or glow-in-the-dark paint for nighttime fun. Consider using foam stars or beads for added sensory effects.
