  • 1 piece String For hanging the windsock

Instructions

Preparation

  • Use red, white, and blue paint to decorate the outside of each paper bowl, allowing them to dry completely.
  • If using colored paper, cut it to fit around the bowls.

Assembly

  • Carefully glue or tape the rims of two bowls together, creating a hollow structure that will be the body of your windsock.
  • Cut lengths of ribbon or streamers (about 12-18 inches) in alternating colors.
  • Use glue or tape to attach these ribbons to the bottom edge of the windsock.
  • Punch a hole in the top center of the windsock if a hole punch is available.
  • Thread a piece of string through the hole and tie it into a loop for hanging.

Display

  • Choose a location where the windsock can catch the breeze, such as a porch, patio, or tree branch.

Notes

Feel free to swap out colors or patterns for a unique design. Use glitter or sequins for extra sparkle. Consider using fabric for a more durable windsock.
