  • Using a hand mixer or whisk, begin to beat the aquafaba on low speed.
  • Gradually increase the speed for about 5-7 minutes until soft peaks form, looking for a glossy, fluffy texture.
  • Add a few drops of food coloring for a vibrant effect, if desired.
  • Incorporate essential oils for a pleasant aroma, if using.

Usage and Storage

  • Use the foam immediately in your craft projects.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Notes

For variations, consider swapping cream of tartar with lemon juice or vinegar. Experiment with different colors and flavored extracts for culinary uses.
