  • 3 tablespoons gelatin powder (unflavored) Unflavored gelatin is essential for the gummies to set.
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup Adjust for desired sweetness.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by placing your star-shaped silicone molds on a flat surface. Make sure they are clean and dry.
  • In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of fruit juice and 3 tablespoons of unflavored gelatin powder. Gradually stir the mixture to avoid clumps, using a whisk or mixing spoon.
  • Gently heat the saucepan over low heat. Stir until the gelatin is fully dissolved, ensuring the mixture is smooth. This should take about 5 minutes.
  • Once dissolved, remove the mixture from heat. Add 1-2 tablespoons of honey or agave syrup for sweetness, and stir well.
  • Carefully pour the gelatin mixture into the star-shaped molds. Use a funnel or measuring cup for precision to avoid spills.
  • Place the filled molds in the refrigerator. Let them set for at least 2-3 hours, or until firm.
  • Once set, carefully remove the gummy stars from the molds. Enjoy your creations straight away, or store them in an airtight container.
