Instructions

Preparation

  • Ensure your glass jar is clean and dry. This will be the canvas for your Aurora Borealis display.

Create Colored Water

  • In a small bowl, combine water with several drops of liquid food coloring to create various shades representing the aurora.

Layer Your Cotton

  • Start by placing cotton balls at the bottom of the jar. They will mimic the clouds in the sky.
  • Drip the different colored water into the jar over the cotton layers. Gently press down to let the colors seep in without mixing too much.

Add Glitter (Optional)

  • For a shimmering effect, sprinkle some glitter between layers. This adds a magical touch to your Aurora Borealis.

Final Touches

  • Once your layers are complete, place an LED tealight at the bottom of the jar. Secure the lid if desired.

Enjoy
