Preparation

  • Set up your work area with a tray or shallow dish to catch any spills.
  • Gather all your materials for easy access.

Creating the Fireworks

  • In each plastic cup, add about 1-2 tablespoons of baking soda.
  • Drizzle a few drops of food coloring on top of the baking soda.
  • Carefully pour white vinegar into the cup with baking soda.
  • Watch as the mixture fizzes, bubbles, and erupts like fireworks!
  • Take note of the colors and sounds as the reaction occurs.

Notes

You can customize colors and add essential oils for different effects. Cleanup is easy since all ingredients are non-toxic.
