Instructions
 

Make the Dough

  • In a bowl, mix 1 cup of baking soda with 1/2 cup of white vinegar. Watch as the mixture fizzes and bubbles.
  • Gradually incorporate 1/4 cup of cornstarch until the mixture thickens.
  • Transfer the mixture to a saucepan over medium heat. Stir continuously until it resembles a dough (about 3-5 minutes).

Shape Your Snowman

  • Allow the dough to cool slightly until it’s easy to handle.
  • Take a portion of the dough and roll it into balls—three sizes for the snowman (large, medium, small).
  • Stack the balls from largest to smallest to create the snowman’s body. Press gently to secure.

Decorate Your Snowman

  • Use paint or markers to draw facial features and buttons. Let your creativity shine!
  • Use craft glue to add buttons, beads, or fabric scraps as scarves or hats.

Notes

Mix food coloring into the dough for colorful snowmen; experiment with different sizes; and create a whole snow family.
