Baking Soda Glowing Ghost Jar

- 1 cup baking soda A key ingredient for the glow effect.
- 1 cup water Used to dissolve baking soda.
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar Creates a fizzing reaction.

- 1 piece clean glass jar (with a lid) The container for the ghost.
- 1 piece paintbrush For applying the mixture.

Instructions
Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of baking soda with 1 cup of water. Stir well until the baking soda fully dissolves.
- Add 1 teaspoon of white vinegar to the mixture; watch it fizz! Once the fizzing calms down, incorporate 1 teaspoon of glow-in-the-dark paint or powder and mix until well blended.
Application
- Using a paintbrush, coat the inside of your clean glass jar with the glowing mixture. Ensure an even layer for the best effect.
- If you want to add a ghost face, cut out shapes from black paper and attach them to the outside of the jar with adhesive.
Drying
- Allow the jar to sit for several hours or until completely dry.
Charging the Glow
- Expose the jar to light to 'charge' the glow before displaying.
Notes
You can customize the glow with different colors of glow powder or use glitter for a sparkling effect. For a scented ghost jar, add a few drops of essential oil to the mixture. Create multiple jars in various sizes for a cluster effect.
