Preparation

  • CAUTION: This will fizz and bubble! Enjoy the fizzy reaction as it occurs.

Mixing

  • Once the fizzing stops, add 1 tablespoon of corn syrup and 1 tablespoon of dish soap to the mixture.
  • Stir well until fully combined; it should form a paste.

Shaping

  • Scoop out the mixture and mold it into three snowballs—large, medium, and small—for the body.
  • Place each snowball on your tray or plate, stacking them from largest to smallest.

Decorating

  • Use toothpicks to create arms by inserting them into the middle snowball.
  • Add features like buttons and eyes using your small decorations.

Growth

  • Leave your snowman in a warm place and check it after a few hours.
  • Watch as crystals form around your snowman over the next day or two!

Notes
