Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine the baking soda and water. Stir until it forms a thick paste.
  • Use your hands to mold the paste into three snowy spheres of varying sizes: one large for the body, one medium for the middle, and a small one for the head.
  • Place the snowman on a cooking tray lined with parchment paper.

Crystal Creation

  • In another bowl, carefully combine the vinegar with any remaining baking soda mixture.
  • Watch the reaction! There will be fizzing and bubbling.

Growing Crystals

  • Pour the bubbly mixture over your snowman, ensuring it's covered but does not overflow.
  • Allow the snowman to sit for several hours or overnight to allow crystals to form.

Decoration

  • Once your snowman has grown, use decorative items to enhance your creation!

Notes
