Preparation

  • Lay down plastic wrap or place a tray to catch any spills.

Mixing

  • In each small cup, add 2-3 tablespoons of baking soda and create a slight mound.
  • Add several drops of food coloring to each cup and mix to create fun shades.

Assembling Your Village

  • Optionally, place small figurines or decorations in or around the cups.
  • Slowly pour vinegar into each cup, one at a time, and watch the reaction.
  • Allow the concoction to settle and observe the layers of color and texture.
