Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • food coloring (variety of colors) Customize colors for fun designs

Tools

  • 1 heart-shaped silicone molds
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 baking tray For stability
  • 1 spoon for mixing

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Clear a flat, clean surface.
  • Gather all materials and place them within reach.

Mix the Dough

  • In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of baking soda.
  • Gradually mix in a few drops of vinegar. Watch as it fizzes!
  • Keep mixing until the mixture forms a thick paste.

Add Color

  • Divide the mixture into separate bowls for each color you want to use.
  • Add a few drops of food coloring to each bowl and stir well.

Fill the Molds

  • Take your heart-shaped silicone molds and spoon the colored mixture into each heart cavity.
  • Press down firmly to pack the mixture tightly.

Dry the Hearts

  • Place the molds on a baking tray for stability.
  • Allow the hearts to dry overnight or until completely hard.

Enjoy the Fizz!

  • When ready to use, take the hard hearts out of the molds.
  • Drop them into a bowl of vinegar and watch the fizzing fun begin!

Notes

Customize colors, add scents, use different shapes. Incorporate glitter for a sparkly effect.
