  • 1 cup baking soda

  • 3/4 cup water

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of baking soda and 1/2 cup of cornstarch.
  • Gradually add 3/4 cup of water, stirring continuously until well mixed.

Cooking

  • Pour the mixture into a cooking pot.
  • Heat over medium-low heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and pulls away from the pot.

Kneading

  • Remove the dough from the pot and let it cool slightly.
  • Knead the dough for a few minutes until smooth. Use non-stick spray on hands if sticky.

Coloring

  • Divide the dough into portions.
  • Squeeze a few drops of neon food coloring onto each portion and knead until the colors are evenly distributed.

Shaping

  • Roll the colored dough into snowman shapes using three balls of different sizes.
  • Stack the balls from largest to smallest to create the snowman's body.

Decorating

  • Use beads, buttons, or other accessories to decorate your snowman with personality.

Notes

Store leftover dough in an airtight container for up to a week. Supervise young children to avoid ingestion.
