Instructions
Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of corn syrup.
- Slowly add 1/3 cup of white vinegar to the mixture and watch the fizzing reaction.
Coloring
- If desired, add a few drops of food coloring to the mixture and stir well.
Shaping
- Using a spoon, scoop the mixture and mold it into feather shapes on wax paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Use a template for a perfect feather shape if preferred.
Drying
- Allow the turkey feathers to dry for 24-48 hours until they are hard.
