Instructions

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the baking soda, vinegar, and corn starch. Mix it well until you achieve a smooth consistency.

Cooking the Mixture

Rolling Out the Dough

  • Once cool, place the dough on a clean surface sprinkled with corn starch. Use a rolling pin to roll it out to about 1/4 inch thickness.

Cutting Out Shapes

  • Use cookie cutters to cut out your desired shapes. Use a toothpick or a straw to make holes for hanging.

Baking

  • Preheat your oven to 175°F (80°C). Place the ornaments on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 2-3 hours until they are fully dry.

Decorating

  • Once cooled, paint or decorate your ornaments as desired. Add a string or ribbon through the holes for hanging.

Notes

Keep the ornaments in a dry, cool place after making. Consider wrapping decorated ornaments in tissue for extra protection.
