- 1 piece 18-gauge floral wire or craft wire
- 1 piece Wire cutters For cutting the wire.
- 1 piece Needle-nose pliers For creating loops in the wire.
- 1 piece Wooden skewers or stakes
- optional set Craft paint or markers For decorating stakes.
Instructions
Crafting Steps
- Cut a 24-inch piece of floral wire and straighten it.
- Begin adding beads to the wire, leaving about 6 inches of wire at the end.
- Twist the wire tightly above the last bead to secure them in place and trim any excess wire.
- Using pliers, form a loop at the top of your beaded section.
- Insert the wooden skewer into the bottom end of the wire and secure them by wrapping any excess wire around the skewer.
- Optionally, use paint or markers to decorate the wooden stake.
Notes
Feel free to mix materials by adding charms or ribbons. Change bead themes for different seasons. To store in winter, keep in a dry place.
