Materials

  • 1 roll Green craft wire or floral wire Choose the thickness based on desired sturdiness.
  • 1 set Colorful beads (green, brown, and other earth tones) Use a variety of colors for depth.
  • 1 pair Wire cutters
  • 1 pair Round-nose pliers
  • 1 roll Floral tape or green tape
  • Optional: glue (for securing beads)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Clean and dry the terracotta pot thoroughly to remove any dust or residues.

Creating the Leaves

  • Measure and cut several lengths of wire, around 12–18 inches each.
  • Using your wire, bend them into leaf shapes, adding curves and points for a natural look.
  • Thread a variety of beads onto the wire, leaving about 2 inches of wire at the end.
  • Once beads are added, fold the end of the wire back to secure them in place. Optionally, apply a small amount of glue.

Assembling the Plant

  • Take the completed leaf wires and push them into the terracotta pot, arranging them in varied lengths.
  • Wrap the base of the wires with floral tape for a finished look.
  • Place your DIY plant in a suitable spot for display.

Final Touches

  • Enjoy the vibrant addition to your space!

Notes

Experiment with pastel tones or bold colors for different aesthetics. Add small decorative stones or faux moss at the bottom of the pot for added texture.
