Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Find a clean, flat surface to work on.
  • Lay down baking parchment or a silicone mat to protect your area.

Mixing Colors

  • In small cups, mix bioplastic with food coloring or natural dye to achieve desired shades.
  • Consider different color combinations for a more dynamic look.

Pouring the Mixture

  • Pour the colored bioplastic onto the parchment, spreading it to your desired thickness. Keep it at least 1/4 inch thick for stability.

Adding Decoration

  • Sprinkle glitter, place pressed flowers, or add beads onto the pour before it sets to enhance your suncatcher.

Curing Your Suncatcher

  • Allow the suncatcher to cure as per the bioplastic instructions (usually a few hours).
  • Once set, punch a hole at the top for hanging.

Hanging Your Creation

  • Thread twine or string through the hole, and hang your suncatcher in a sunny spot where you can admire the colors shining through.
