Preparation

- Gather your materials: Ensure you have everything within reach.
Preheat the Oven
- Set your oven to 175°F (80°C) to get it ready for melting the crayons.
Prepare the Crayons
- Peel the crayons: Remove the wrappers carefully to avoid breaking them.
- Break into small pieces: Chop the crayons into smaller chunks (around 1-inch pieces) for even melting.
Arrange on Baking Sheet
- Line the baking sheet: Place parchment paper on the sheet for easy removal.
- Create your design: Use cookie cutters to create shapes and fill them with crayon pieces. Mix and match colors for unique effects.
Melt the Crayons
- Bake in oven: Place the baking sheet in the oven and let the crayons melt for about 10-15 minutes.
- Watch closely: Look for a smooth, liquid texture without bubbling.
Cool and Remove
- Let cool: Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely until solid.
- Pop out the shapes: Carefully remove the suncatchers from the cookie cutters.
