Instructions
Preparation
- Set up a flat, heat-resistant surface and gather all your materials to avoid interruptions.
Unwrapping Crayons
- Remove the paper wrappers from the blue crayons and break larger crayons into smaller pieces for quicker melting.
Creating Design
- Lay out sheets of wax paper on your workspace and arrange blue crayon pieces into your desired pattern.
Melting
- Place another sheet of wax paper on top of the crayons. Preheat your iron on a low setting (no steam) and gently press the iron onto the top wax paper for a few seconds until the crayons start to melt.
- Move the iron around to ensure even melting.
Cooling
- Once melted, carefully peel off the top wax paper and allow your creation to cool completely so it hardens again.
Cutting Shapes
- Use scissors to cut the melted crayon into your desired shapes (e.g., circles, stars). If making ornaments, use the hole punch to create holes for string.
Hanging
- String your ornaments with ribbon and hang them in a sunny spot to catch the light.
