Creating the Sun Catcher

  • Start by cutting the clear plastic sheets into your desired shape, like circles or stars.
  • Cut pieces of blue tissue paper into smaller shapes for layering.
  • Apply a thin layer of craft glue to one side of the plastic shape.
  • Layer the blue tissue paper over the glue, arranging it stylistically.
  • Allow your work to dry, then prepare your string to create a hanging loop.
  • Once dry, use the string to fashion a loop at the top for hanging.
  • Hang your sun catcher by a window and enjoy the interplay of light and color.

Notes

Store sun catchers in a protective box or wrapped in soft fabric when not in use. You can reuse the plastic sheets by changing the tissue paper for different seasons. Experiment with colors and decorative elements for added creativity.
