Ingredients
  

For the crystal solution

  • 1 cup boiling water Use water that is at a rolling boil

  • 1 piece String or pipe cleaner For crafting flower shapes
  • 1 spoon Spoon For stirring the solution
  • 1 dish Small dish To hold your project while it sets
  • 1 jar Glass jar or container Best for observing crystal growth

Preparation

  • Clear a quiet workspace where you feel comfortable.
  • Heat water in a pot until it reaches a rolling boil.

Create the Borax Solution

  • In a glass jar, add three tablespoons of Borax for every cup of boiling water.
  • Stir gently until you see the granules dissolve completely.

Shape and Submerge

  • Bend string or pipe cleaners into flower shapes.
  • Place your flowers into the jar, ensuring they are fully submerged.

Observe and Reveal

  • Set the jar in an undisturbed area and wait patiently for 6-12 hours as crystals form.
  • Once crystallization is complete, carefully remove the flowers and let them dry on a paper towel.

Notes

To maintain the beauty of your crystal flowers, store them in a cool, dry place, avoiding moisture. You can refresh them by submerging in a new solution.
