Ingredients
For the Borax Solution
- 2 cups Water
- 6 tablespoons Borax Powder
For Crafting
- 1 each Jar or Glass Container
- 1 each String or Yarn
- 1 each Pencil or Stick
- 1 each Pipe Cleaners (shaped like stars)
- to taste Food Coloring (optional)
- 1 each Measuring Cup
- 1 each Spoon for stirring
Instructions
Preparation
- Boil 2 cups of water and add about 6 tablespoons of borax powder while stirring until dissolved.
Shaping Stars
- Use the pipe cleaners to craft star shapes, allowing for creative designs.
Assembly
- Attach a piece of string or yarn to the star shape securely.
- Place the pencil or stick across the top of the jar and hang the star in the solution, ensuring it doesn’t touch the sides or bottom.
Crystallization
- Leave the jar undisturbed overnight or longer for maximum crystal growth.
- Check periodically to observe the beautiful crystals forming.
Finishing Touches
- After at least 24 hours, carefully remove the star and rinse gently with water before letting it dry.

Notes
