Ingredients
  

For the Borax Solution

  • 2 cups Water
  • 6 tablespoons Borax Powder

For Crafting

  • 1 each Jar or Glass Container
  • 1 each String or Yarn
  • 1 each Pencil or Stick
  • 1 each Pipe Cleaners (shaped like stars)
  • to taste Food Coloring (optional)
  • 1 each Measuring Cup
  • 1 each Spoon for stirring

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Boil 2 cups of water and add about 6 tablespoons of borax powder while stirring until dissolved.

Shaping Stars

  • Use the pipe cleaners to craft star shapes, allowing for creative designs.

Assembly

  • Attach a piece of string or yarn to the star shape securely.
  • Place the pencil or stick across the top of the jar and hang the star in the solution, ensuring it doesn’t touch the sides or bottom.

Crystallization

  • Leave the jar undisturbed overnight or longer for maximum crystal growth.
  • Check periodically to observe the beautiful crystals forming.

Finishing Touches

  • After at least 24 hours, carefully remove the star and rinse gently with water before letting it dry.
  • Find a perfect spot to display your dazzling borax crystal stars.

Notes

Optional: Add food coloring for colorful crystals. For thicker formations, dip and dry repeatedly. Experiment with different shapes using cookie cutters.
