Ingredients
  

Ball Mixture

  • ¾ cup school glue (clear or white)
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • food coloring (various colors) Add to achieve desired color intensity

  • plastic gloves (optional)
  • balloons (small, round) Use to form the balls
  • funnel (optional) For easier filling of the balloons

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine ¾ cup of school glue and ½ cup of water. Stir until well blended.
  • Gradually add ½ cup of cornstarch to the mixture, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  • Add a few drops of food coloring to the mixture and mix until you achieve your desired color intensity.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda to the mixture and stir thoroughly to combine all ingredients into a thick batter.

Filling Balloons

  • Using a funnel (if needed), carefully pour the mixture into the balloons, filling each balloon to about halfway.
  • Tie the balloons securely once filled.

Setting

  • Allow the filled balloons to sit for at least 24 hours to harden.

Final Step

  • Once dry, cut or pop the balloons to reveal your bouncy rainbow balls. Get ready to bounce!

Notes

Customize colors and textures. For additional fun, sparkly versions can be created by adding glitter. Experiment with different sizes of balloons for varied bouncy ball sizes.
