Ingredients
  

For the Bouncy Ball

  • 1 tablespoon Borax
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 1 tablespoon white glue (PVA glue)
  • 1 tablespoon water Use warm water to dissolve Borax.
  • to taste Food coloring (optional) Add for personalized colors.

Tools Required

  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Spoon for stirring

Preparation

  • In a small mixing bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of Borax and 1 tablespoon of warm water. Stir until dissolved.
  • In another bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of glue with 1 tablespoon of corn starch to create the base of your bouncy ball.

Combine Mixtures

  • If desired, add a few drops of food coloring into the glue mixture and stir gently until the color is evenly distributed.
  • Slowly pour the Borax solution into the glue mixture, observing as it starts to clump together.
  • Once a solid mass forms, remove it from the bowl and start kneading it with your hands.
  • Continue kneading until the mixture becomes smooth and bouncy.
  • Roll the kneaded mixture into a ball shape, adjusting it to ensure it's round and fits nicely in your hand.

Notes

Consider customizing colors and scents; you can also vary the size of your bouncy balls. Borax is generally safe for older kids under adult supervision. Store your bouncy ball in a cool, dry place to maintain its bounce.
